A lovely large park with stunning views over Lisbon. We were in need of refreshment after a long walk and cut through the park to get to Cortez Ingles. We didn't get to appreciate the park in full.Full review by Jane H

Make sure you head here at least once on your trip to Lisbon! It’s a walk uphill from the city past the maze lawns but the viewpoint up the top is spectacular! I would also recommend going to Estufa …Full review by MaisLF

The main station is far from the park but you can take the metro to the sub-station at Marqes de Pombai which is at the downhill side of the park. The walking distance from the train station at Rossio to the landmark statue of Pombai is around half an hour (no side watching of the shops etc.) Nonetheless I consider that it is worth to take a walk through the busy tree-lined boulevard up to the park. There are many shops, statues and cafes along the route provided you have sufficient time. Have a happy trip.
Q:
About how long can you spend at the park? Is it something to do for a whole morning or can it only satisfy about an hour?
A:
I would say about an hour. it takes you down to where you can get the open top buses.
Q:
Any recommendations for a nice lunch nearby?
A:
Try O Fondue at Rua Tomas Ribeiro, 38, Portugal. I loved the place. Excellent game and seafood fondues.
Q:
Nearest metro stop please?
A:
metro stop Marques de Pombal. You can take nice pics from the big statue and the park. Than walk to the park and take pics from the statue and the boulavard.
