Hi...we plan on being in Honolulu for 2 days..Sunday and Monday...in 3 weeks 1.do we need a car or can we get around with uber/busses/etc 2 We want to see both Dole ..tropical farm and other sites Other "must see" would be appreciated! Thanks

A car would be easier (we rented a car by the day so we didn’t pay for parking) but I am told you can circle the island by bus. I recommend the cultural Center and Pearl Harbor. We also did a catamaran cruise and snorkel. We bought the city pass through groupon which brought down some of our costs.
On average, how long do you think it takes to walk around and explore the Macadamia Nut Farm? We are debating whether to include both the Nut Farm and the Dole Plantation in one day. With the distance between the two locations, would it be possible to comfortably enjoy our time at both locations in one day?

You can absolutely do both, We did both on the same day and we had a great time. We spent about two hours at the macadamia nut Farm and about 2 1/2 hours at doll. At dole remember to get the whip with fresh pineapple, you won't be sorry.
