The tour was phenomenal! Great people, 15-20 whales, 50 + Spinner Dolphins, many sea turtles. We were not able to get in with the spinners because there were 2 whales fighting over a female and the spinners were quite upset. Swimming with the dolphins is totally dependent on the environment. Still very worth while

Hello, We will be visiting end of April beginning of May and are interested in your adventures. I have a little problem with sea sickness and was wondering what the incidence of that is and if there is land in sight at all times during the tour?

Hi - yes there was land in sight at all times at least for for our trip in Feb but I think this is typical. I still got sea sick. I took gravol but too late (I took it while on the boat when I was starting to feel a little off - I brought it but didn’t take it earlier because I was worried about being groggy- the side effect from the meds). The captain said that the patch usually helps. I would take this advice because I found that watching the water and waves for whales in choppy waters unsettling after an hour or so. We got out twice to snorkel so that helped but the second time I definitely was not feeling 100% and couldn’t enjoy the experience as much. The experience was really amazing and if I could do it again I would definitely take something for sea sickness ahead of time. Being sick off the side of the boat (gross) was the only thing that helped me, but April and the captain were super understanding. There was one other person who was a little sea sick but everyone else was totally fine. They have natural remedies on the boat.
