You can buy the tickets at the castle, but, to avoid a queue ( even if small) and make most of my time, I would recommend buying it beforehand. Prague city pass is a great option( I would definitely recommend buying it from a tourist information centre. They would tell you things that you would not have known and offers that would make the most of your visit enjoyable. But, please bit the audio guide beforehand.. they sell out too fast and you would want one to have a complete experience of the castle.
Can you tell me if the audioguide is only for one person and is it worth renting? Seems expensive for 2 of us. Would one do? Also, if you can't use flash, will the cell phone cameras take reasonable pictures inside? Is the inside of the castle still being repaired so that sections are blocked off? Thank you so much!

Hi, may I ask do I really need to purchase tickets for entrance to Prague Castle. At what instances do I need to buy a ticket? Because I’m getting mixed up with reviews saying no need to buy and some say need to buy. I’m kinda confused.
