Borussia Dortmund have confirmed Niko Kovač to become their new head coach in a club statement on Thursday morning.

Niko Kovač lost in his first game as new Borussia Dortmund boss with a 2-1 loss against Stuttgart at the Westfalenstadion. After a scoreless first half, the visitors struck five minutes after the break for the opener and it came from a familiar face as Waldemar Anton put through his own net against his old employers by steering in a low cross from Chris Führich.
