The martial-arts classic Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is headed back to streaming. Amazon Prime Video and Sony Pictures Television are currently working on a television adaptation of the story, based on Wang Dulu’s series of novels known as the Crane-Iron Pentalogy.

In the years since the release of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," one of its stars - Michelle Yeoh - has experienced a meteoric career trajectory. She is now a hotly sought-after talent, having won an Oscar for Best Leading Actress for her performance in "Everything Everywhere All at Once."

Twenty-five years after Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon hit theaters, Prime Video is developing a series based on this epic tale.
