The Great Lakes Fishery Commission says it is hopeful over efforts to prevent Asian carp from migrating into the Great Lakes.

President Trump said he, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Michigan House Speaker Matt Hall discussed the need to keep Asian carp out of Lake Michigan.
