Following months of negotiations and rumors, the Boston Red Sox finally landed the most coveted free agent left on the market on Wednesday, reportedly agreeing to a three-year, $120 million deal with star third baseman Alex Bregman.

Bregman brings a lot to the Red Sox, who are coming off of an 81-81 season and a third place finish in the division, as they failed to make the postseason again. In fact, the last time that Boston reached the playoffs, Bregman's Astros bested them in the ALCS.

Stalwart third baseman Alex Bregman is leaving the Houston Astros. Bregman and the Boston Red Sox have agreed to a three-year contract worth $120 million, reports Chandler Rome. Rome adds that the deal includes opt-outs after each season.
