Former UVA basketball star Sam Hauser hit a Celtic record seven threes in a quarter and dropped a career-high 33 points to lead the Boston Celtics to a win over the Utah Jazz.

Sam Hauser set a franchise record for 3-pointers in a quarter to power the Celtics to a 114-108 win over the upset-minded Jazz.

Hauser’s 3-point eruption led to a 23-point quarter, the most that any Celtic has scored in a frame this season. He became just the fourth Celtic in the play-by-play era to score at least that many points in a quarter, joining teammates Tatum and Jaylen Brown, along with Isaiah Thomas.
