Days of unrelenting heavy rain and storms​ killed at least 24 people as some rivers rose to near-record levels and towns were inundated across the South and parts of the Midwest.

After the Friday morning storms in Philadelphia, conditions dry out a bit ahead of yet another weather maker for the weekend.
