While Drake Maye won't be playing in Super Bowl LIX, the Patriots rookie quarterback surprised a New England Army veteran with tickets to the big game.

Charlotte-native and New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye surprised an Army veteran with a trip to the Super Bowl next month.

An army veteran by the name of Matt Jabaut will be taking a trip to this year’s Super Bowl in New Orleans, Louisiana thanks to the USAA (the Official NFL Salute to Service Partner) and The American Legion. The former military service member currently lives Lewiston, Maine… so he’s naturally a big New England Patriots fan.

Army Matt Jabaut thought he was about to give an interview about The American Legion when Drake Maye snuck up behind him. As a part of the NFL Salute to Service, Maye surprised the former combat medic with two tickets to this year’s Super Bowl in New Orleans.
