Marcus Rashford made his debut for Aston Villa on Sunday, coming on as a substitute against Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup fourth round.

Aston Villa reached the fifth round of the FA Cup for the first time in 10 years, inflicting defeat on a Tottenham side knocked out of a cup competition for the second time in three days.

Unai Emery praised the performances of Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio after the pair made their Aston Villa debuts off the bench against Tottenham. A week on from joining the club on loan from Manchester United, Rashford was named among the subs on Sunday night alongside Asensio, another loan signing from Paris Saint-Germain.
