As winter weather is expected to hit the DMV Sunday, officials announced that the northern section of the George Washington Memorial Parkway will close Sunday morning. The closure, which will take effect at 6 a.

Temperatures will be around 22 degrees at noon on Monday. The wind chill will make it feel like 5 degrees in D.C. Weather has played a pivotal role in several past inaugurations.

Another round of snow is headed for the Washington, D.C., area. Snow will arrive Sunday morning. This snow won’t be anything close to a crippling blizzard, but it could impact travel. The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for much of the metro D.
