Preliminary structural analysis completed for Jenkins Middle School
The preliminary structural analysis and recommendations for repairing Jenkins Middle School were released Monday. The engineering firm Jensen Hughes was hired by Colorado Springs D-11 after the Colorado Springs Fire Department deemed the school unsafe and in need of repairs in December.
School board approves $750,000 for design work at Jenkins Middle School in Colorado Springs
According to D11, the funding will allow contractors to immediately begin work related to reviewing the school’s structural report, conducting site visits and drafting a design plan to address any issues found.
