The victim of a deadly shooting at a North Nashville KFC on Wednesday has been identified, according to Metro Nashville Police Department. MNPD says 40-year-old Christopher Ray Smith, of Nashville, was killed when 30-year-old Isaiah Maston started shooting at him during an argument.

Nashville Police were called to the restaurant, across the street from the Tennessee State Museum, Wednesday afternoon and found the 40-year-old victim with multiple gunshot wounds. The man, identified in court records as Christopher Ray Smith, was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died, police said in a news release.

A man named Yanathan Furline faces multiple charges after allegedly shooting a woman in a Nashville apartment complex over a marijuana deal gone wrong.

Police said the victim did not know the alleged shooter.

Nashville police said a woman critically injured in a Sunday shooting during a domestic incident died Monday. Around 8:40 p.m. Sunday, police found Leslie Yount, 44, inside an apartment at 28th Avenue North with a single gunshot wound to her abdomen.
