This past weekend, No. 9 Texas (9-1) beat Washington, Texas Tech and Illinois at the Las Vegas Classic. Now winners of nine straight games, Texas is vying for its first 10-game winning streak since the 2023 season.

The No. 15 Texas Longhorns (8-1) hit the road and headed to Las Vegas riding an impressive six-game winning streak. After their first two games in the Las Vegas Classic they have pushed that streak to eight games thanks to wins over Washington and Texas Tech.

Texas baseball will be out to score a victory over an old Big 12 foe Saturday when it takes on Texas Tech in the Longhorns' second game at the Las Vegas Classic. Texas (7-1) collected its seventh consecutive win Friday night when it hung on to beat Washington 10-9 despite a poor display from its bullpen.
