Prior to that, your last comment was 5 months ago. Not saying this is a Crandall account, but it's a little eyebrow raising.

Dec 9, 2023 · Even if my experience with the Fern and Crandall Leap v2 were equal in terms of comfort, there is simply no way I could justify paying 2x (~$600 vs ~$1,200) for a brand new Fern. Anyway, hope this review helps anyone else considering these two chairs.

At least with the steelcase factory warranty - a technician will come to your location to fix your chair vs Crandall or Btod shipping a part out.

Sep 26, 2021 · With Crandall’s (also free) shipping, you must do a bit of assembly yourself. Guided by the included instructions and the videos linked to YouTube, assembly was simple and took about 20 minutes. However, the seat did not slide smoothly, fore and aft.

Jun 3, 2020 · This isn't Crandall's fault as the Leap V2 was designed this way, at least the older models were. I fully assembled the chair and when I sat down the seat sank on its own. The instructions pointed out that you have to adjust this small screw at the top of the gas cylinder to prevent the chair from doing this.

Finding Crandall with basically half price chairs I thought that seemed like a great deal. A little nervous about the redesigned pan cushion though. Ended up getting the bioknit fabric and will put some Amazon roller blade wheels I have on it to sit on a low pile rug. I sit in my chair for 40-50 hours a week and am really crossing my fingers here.

Nov 15, 2022 · Overall, it's the best chair I've ever purchased and highly recommend Crandall due to their customization and cushioning/upholstery options. One last thought, if you're in a hotter climate, you MIGHT wanna consider the leather seat options. Although, I love the 3d bioknit.. it truly is water resistant and is holding up excellent, as advertised.
