I am using my MSI GTX 3090 mainly for NiceHash, and even with my case fans on full blast and GPU fan on 100% in AfterBurner, I am still seeing memory junction temps of 90°c while the GPU temp sits at 45°c.

Nov 2, 2020 · That's one easy way to solve any concerns. I just setup a custom fan curve. 0% fan speed under 30C (where my card sits idle, 26-29C), ramping up to 33% above 30C, then 50% above 45C, then 80% above 55C depending on load temps seen on the GPU readout.

Feb 24, 2022 · 70 degrees is perfectly fine for a 3090. IT seems a bit high for 70% fan speed but as long as it's not at 85 degrees with 100% fan speed, it's fine. The lifespan of these fans is very long unless if you were to stop them with your finger a lot. Good to know the temps are fine.
