May 15, 2020 · Very nice color. B5 is my favorite of all the blues but frostbite is a close second in my book. It is a little darker than B5 but while cleaning her car I noticed it looks like it "color shifts" between a light blue (Still Darker than B5) and a darker Blue (Still lighter than Indigo). I prefer the lighter blue (B5) is as light as I would go.

May 12, 2010 · In the 1970s, Bright Blue (B5 Blue) was just a "regular" color-- it was NOT a "High Impact" color. Today, "Surf Blue" is a "regular color, but on Chargers and Challengers, the same color is called "B5 Blue" and is marketed as a "High Impact" color. So, B5 Blue is just the name of the color code PQD on the Challenger.

Deep Water Blue was darker and ran from '09 to '11. this go around B5 Blue had the longest run from the entire '15 model year and midway through '16. The B5 Blue '09 run was cut short during the bankruptcy and had a short run for '10, and that was it.
