During the arduous medical education process, cadaver applications, which are indispensable for the science of anatomy, enable physicians to navigate the foggy tunnel without any problems in order to identify diseases and find cures.

May 1, 2017 · Cadaveric oath is an avenue to emphasize to students that the cadaver presently lying before them and waiting to be dissected was once alive and belonged to the same society to which the students belong (Sawant et al., 2015).

The students expressed their creativity through their posters where they conveyed their thoughts on the ethical and humanitarian aspects of cadaveric dissection as well as the process of body donation. Each poster was unique and conveyed a diverse range of views through vivid imagery.

A Cadaveric Oath is a pledge that a medical student takes before touching the cadaver in the dissection hall; the oath emphases on proper handling with the cadaver, paying tribute to the soul and to knot the idea of empathy in the young medicos minds.

Cadaveric Pledge: As a mark importance of their initial of reverence and an acknowledgment of the profound interaction with cadavers, the students solemnly undertook a 'Cadaveric Oath.'

To show due respect & gratitude to this cadaver who will always remain our first teacher. To pay gratitude towards the next of kin of the donors for their endeavors in serving the society selflessly even after death.
