One of my players is a lawful evil Bard. His character is incredibly narcissistic and petty. He thinks he is the best and has a few interesting goals that drive the charecter. He is mostly driven by wanting fame/money, so a lot of times he acts charming and polite when things are going well.

An evil bard is a politician. A young lord who is calling for sweeping reform. Amassing his own loyal men. A grass roots movement. Peasants come to his holdings in droves. Calling out the queens policy and refusing aid when she calls for a tithe.
