The Krippin Virus, also known as KV for short, is a fictional man-made disease in the 2007 film adaption, I Am Legend and the spinoff graphic novel, I Am Legend: Awakening. The Krippin Virus was genetically engineered from the measles virus by Dr. Alice Krippin as a cure for cancer.
