Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is a hack and slash beat 'em up in which Raiden faces off against cyborg soldiers and UGs (Unmanned Gears, drone vehicles) in a variety of environments.

Mistral was a French cyborg mercenary and a member of Desperado Enforcement LLC. She was one of the Winds of Destruction, alongside Sundowner and Monsoon. Her code-name is derived from the dry northern winds that blow from the Alps to the Mediterranean.

Raiden is one of the main characters in the Metal Gear series. He has gone from an Army XXI grunt, to a soldier whose abilities rival the legendary Solid Snake, to a cyborg ninja with superhuman capabilities. A recurring antagonist who wounds Raiden and pushes him onto his journey in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

Raiden (Japanese: 雷電), real name Jack (ジャック, Jakku), is a character and one of the protagonists of Konami 's Metal Gear series of action-adventure stealth video games. Created by Hideo Kojima and designed by Yoji Shinkawa, Raiden was introduced in the series as the main player character of the 2001 game Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.
