The Murphy Center is a collaboration between 20 independent agencies and countless community partners. Founded in 2009 as a one-stop shop for people who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness, the Murphy Center was the first of its kind in northern Colorado.

This means that on some Saturdays and Sundays (8 am - 5 pm or 8 am - 9 pm) or weekday evenings (5 pm - 9 pm), the Murphy Center will open to provide a safe place from the heat. Air conditioning, beverages, food, and access to rest rooms will be available.

That center, the Murphy Center, now serves nearly 3,000 people each year in Larimer County. Named in honor of Sister Mary Alice Murphy, the Murphy Center opened in 2009 with an ambitious goal: provide a central location at which people can access a range of services.
