Malavath Poorna [a] (born 10 June 2000) is an Indian mountaineer. On 25 May 2014, Poorna climbed Mount Everest, aged 13 years and 11 months, the youngest female to have reached the summit. [1] Purna climbed Mount Elbrus, the highest peak in Europe on 27 July 2017.

Jun 30, 2023 · After climbing Mt Everest, she was keen to complete the Seven Summit Challenge. This led her to climbing Mt Elbrus in Russia which stands at an elevation of 5,642 m and later Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania which is 5,895 m in height. In 2019, she climbed Mt Vinson in Antarctica.

She climbed to the top of Mount Elbrus on 27th July 2017 at around 10.00hrs (IST), the highest peak in Russia and in Europe which is 5,642 metres above sea level. She completed the summit of Mount Aconcagua on 15 February 2019, the highest peak in South America which is 6,961 metres above sea level.
