Dec 2, 2024 · The M4Pro Mini definitely gets warmer than the old M1 or my Studio, but Roon will not be an issue. It's pretty simple to set up the new Minis to run headless and use Apple Remote Desktop to manage them.

Sep 6, 2023 · Setting up a Mac Mini as Roon Core is essentially the same as doing it on your iMac, except that it can live in the cupboard near your router, as could the Nucleus. I can see no reason why it wouldn’t be a “robust” solution.
