Dr. Lynn Denlon is one of the primary protagonists of Saw III. Following her abduction by John Kramer, aka Jigsaw, and his accomplice, Amanda Young, Lynn has to keep the dying Jigsaw alive long enough for her husband, Jeff, to finish his own game set up by the killer.

Jeff, who is revealed to be Lynn's husband, retaliates by shooting Amanda with a gun provided by John after his tests. As Amanda dies, John reveals that Lynn's test was actually hers: John was aware of her motives and unwilling to allow a murderer to continue his legacy.

In the final confrontation, Amanda ends up shooting Lynn just as Jeff comes into the room they're in. Then, Jeff shoots Amanda in the neck. As Amanda bleeds to death, Jigsaw reveals how Lynn and Jeff are really husband and wife, and that the entire time the game was on her.
