In this situation I don’t think it is so much a hardware issue but I think of software differences, as Tesla tends to put more effort into the model 3/Y compared to the model S/X. I say this as a longterm owner with a 2017 model X vs 2018 model 3, and again renewed in this thought with my 2023 model S.

In the model year you bought you have resistant heat (not at all efficient), so actual range will tend to take a beating in the winter. use the seat warmers when possible, although I'm aware some folks don't like them.
