James Montgomery Doohan (/ ˈ d uː ə n /; March 3, 1920 – July 20, 2005) was a Canadian actor, best known for his role as Montgomery "Scotty" Scott in the television and film series Star Trek.

Jack Doohan (/ ˈ d uː ə n / DOO-ən; born 20 January 2003) is an Australian racing driver, who competes in Formula One for Alpine. Born and raised in the Gold Coast, Queensland, Doohan is the son of five-time Grand Prix motorcycle World Champion Mick Doohan.
